TCL is one of the best Smart TV currently available in the market. But it has its share of issues and one of them is audio issues.

For some TCL Roku TV or TCL TV owners are getting the sound in the menu but not while playing a show.

Some users are getting sound neither on the menu screen nor while playing a show or movie.

Mostly this can happen because of faulty TCL Roku TV settings or because of hardware problems.

How to fix TCL TV No Sound?

Before starting with troubleshooting let’s eliminate the obvious ones. 

  • Make sure that the audio on your TCL Roku TV is not at 0.
  • Also, make sure that your TV is not muted.
  • Another thing you need to check is that the cables are securely connected to the right source/port. Also, ensure that the cables are not broken.

Restart Your TCL Roku TV

Many users suggested that restarting the TCL Roku TV fixed the sound problem on their TCL TV. Restarting your TCL Roku TV will clear any technical. This will fix the audio problem on your TCL Roku TV.

You need to press the following button combination for clearing cache and restarting your TCL Roku TV.

  1. Press the Home button on your TCL Roku TV remote 5 times.
  2. Now, press Up button 1 time.
  3. Press the Rewind button 2 times, then the Fast Forward button 2 times.

Now your TCL Roku TV will restart in a couple of seconds. When your TCL Roku TV restarts, check if the sound is working or not.

  1. Press the Home button.
  2. Now, scroll down to select the Settings option.
  3. Select the System option.
  4. Now, select the Power option.
  5. Now, select System restart, then choose Restart.

  4. Hold down the button until the TV reboots.
