Steps to Fix Fire Tablet Won’t Turn On
- Charge Your Fire Tablet Properly
If your fire tablet won’t turn on then maybe your tablet doesn’t have enough juice left in your battery. So the first step is to charge your tablet 100% and plug out from the socket and then turn on. I know this step will take time but I hope it will help you.
- Keep Trying
Hold the fire’s power button for at least 5 to 10 seconds. If doesn’t work at the first try and then try it for once more, maybe this step will solve your issue.
- Use a Compatible Charger



Do not use any random charger, use the charger that came with your fire tablet or use the charger which is compatible with your Amazon fire tablet or change your cable and then try charging your fire tablet.
- Use Different Outlet for Charging
There might be some issue with your charging port or outlet. Charge your fire tablet from other power outlet and then try booting up your fire tablet . If your device start working then the problem is with your outlet. And, also you can charge your device through your other devices like a laptop or pc. Just attach/plug-in your USB with another device.
- Reset your Device
Try soft reset on your device, it may resolve your issue because sometimes soft reset helps to solve these types of problems and also soft resetting your device will not delete your data or files. To perform a soft reset:
- Hold the Power button of your fire tablet for 30 to 40 secs and then release the power button.
- Wait for at least 5 to 10 Seconds, your fire tablet will start rebooting.
- Go for Third-Party Amazon Fire Tablet Battery
Maybe your kindle’s battery is dead. If this is the case then you need to replace your amazon fire tablet battery. Amazon doesn’t provide any original battery for their fire tablets. However, You can purchase third party batteries but it’s not worth it. We’ll recommend you to buy a new fire tablet instead of purchasing a third party battery.

If you applied all the above steps then contact amazon. If your Fire tablet is under warranty then maybe they will replace your fire tablet with the new one or they will repair the fault and solve your issue.
Try these steps to fix kindle fire won’t turn on stuck on a black screen
You can follow this step if none of the above steps worked for you. Sometimes your buttons are jammed due to the dust or your cat spilled some tea or coffee on your fire tablet. These things jam the button on fire tablet, to fix this press the power and volume button rapidly again and again for some time. Now if you’re stuck on a black screen, press the power button for 20-30 seconds this will shut down the fire tablet. Now again hold the power button until you see the Amazon logo. This will fix your fire tablet stuck on black screen not starting issue.
If the above method didn’t work, then plug in your Fire tablet for half an hour. Then press power and volume button rapidly in and out for 30 seconds. Now press the power button until you see the Amazon logo(with power cable plugged in). This can fix the issue of amazon fire won’t turn on on some fire tablet.
